Why I Left My Job to Follow My Heart

Oh, how we thought we had that “20/20” vision! But we definitely didn’t see what was headed our way!

You may have noticed, it has been a while since I’ve posted anything… anywhere. I took some time off from social media to avoid a lot of the craziness that was swirling around. With everything that was going on with the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, taking a break just seemed like the right thing to do. But now I’m back and ready to reconnect with all of you!

So what have I been up to during this time? Well, I took this time to reflect and get back into the things that I’m passionate about. I left my previous job and started to pursue branding and graphic design for myself. It’s something I’ve always had a passion for, but I hadn’t really had the opportunity to take the plunge… until the pandemic. With two weeks of free time (Remember, that? We literally thought it would only last two weeks! 😅), I decided to use it to make a change and follow my heart.

This has been a wild adventure with lots of ups and downs. I spent a lot of time working on projects for folks all around the country. It was incredibly inspiring to be able to help them create something unique and meaningful for their brands, as well as help them automate their operations. I think I was most shocked to learn just how many businesses needed help with so many fundamentals that felt like second nature to me.

Soooooo what do I do, exactly? Well I’m a digital jack-of-all-trades, so to speak. I primarily create websites, logos and branding for businesses, but I was also thrust into mastering social media advertising campaigns. And with that shift deeper into marketing, I began designing and building automations that could automatically follow up with my clients’ leads, manage appointments and run other everyday tasks that took up most of my clients’ time and energy.

Basically if you’ve ever said, “I wonder if there’s a way to [insert whatever wild idea you may have here]” then I’m the guy to make it happen!

I’m looking forward to using my platform here to bring all the knowledge I’m building up and share it with you in the most entertaining way possible. I hope to show you a behind-the-scenes look into my projects and adventures, as well as provide tips and tricks to help you with your own business and personal life.

Thank you for sticking around and I can’t wait to share some more of my journey with you all soon!
